Caring Roots Lawn & Landscape is seeking an experienced Crew Leader / Route Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and enhancement services while guiding crew members to perform at their best.

This role is critical to maintaining service quality, managing daily routes, and ensuring client satisfaction across residential, commercial, and HOA properties. You will serve as the on-site leader responsible for production, quality control, safety, and communication between field crews and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscape crews on daily service routes.
• Ensure all properties meet Caring Roots quality and service standards.
• Train and mentor crew members on equipment use, safety, and service techniques.
• Communicate with management regarding route progress, property issues, and customer requests.
• Perform and oversee services including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, mulch installation, planting, and seasonal cleanups.
• Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance or repairs when needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Identify upsell opportunities such as enhancements, seasonal services, or property improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, or grounds management.
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial mowing equipment and landscape tools.
• Ability to manage time, routes, and crew productivity.
• Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical outdoor work.

• Collaborate with crew leaders and team members to complete daily routes efficiently and safely.
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow company quality standards to ensure properties are serviced to Caring Roots expectations.
• Stay updated on best practices for landscape maintenance, plant care, and turf health.
• Identify and communicate property issues (drainage, turf stress, irrigation problems, etc.).

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, or similar outdoor work preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic lawn care equipment and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical outdoor labor.
